AS I left the Painted Church**, I looked back and the late afternoon sun was coming in the windows. There are old murals on the wall that are barely visible. When I saw this shot, well, it almost seemed like a little miracle!!

Gorgeous light. When I was a little girl I used to get told off for not bringing my interesting thoughts to the lesson, and one of the reasons was a fascination the the play of light and shadows on the classroom wall from the low sun. Both your photo and Taras have sparked off memories today!
Excellent capture!!
Oh Marilyn - how utterly gorgeous! WOW - I love it girlfriend!!! May the angels be with you today.... :)
Like it...a bit mysterious isn't it? Good capture.
An air of mystery, awe and wonder; yet a beautiful surprise.
I love the play of light and shadow on the wall...gorgeous work!
I agree with the mystery and the luminousity is fascinating.

very nice!!
As long as you aren't showing me a grilled cheese sandwich with a holy portrait on it, I'll buy it. LOL This is a wonderfully warm shot.
Counting angels on the wall doesn't bother me at all ... isn't that how the song goes? :)
Wonderful photograph and the scene does bring back past memories!
The angels listened in, when they heard me praying The angels listened in, when they heard me saying I can name that tune..........Aloha
This is intensely beautiful! I love the rich, lovely red. The way the light and shadow plays is superb. What's quite amazing about this is the way the red seems so restful! Red is not often associated with restfulness, but you've managed to make it so here. This is great!
