Description
This is the same species as yesterdays but it is a different individual. This is one of the larger sized species of Robber Fly I see (over 1"-25mm).
I have shown this POV a couple of times before but the critter is so unique, I cannot resist another version, lol.
Tomorrow will be a smaller species.

Hopefully this one is free from the mites? Beautiful macro work!!!!!
Wow. Great pose.
Excellent!
Wild looking critter! Fantastic shot and wonderful clarity. Well done!
Amazing wicked eyes - great.
Great portrait! I read that the hairy face prevents the juices of the victim squirting in to the eyes! My robber fly pics are here.Do have a look , I was really pleased! http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1734685
Wow, what a great macro (with excellent dof). Amazing eyes are looking at us! Wow, was für eine tolle Makroaufnahme (gestochen scharf). Erstaunliche Augen schaune uns da an!
Wild looking - great color. Well done.
This is an amazing image of just about the one of only a handful of insects on the planet that truly freak me out! Wasps that lay their eggs in other insects are among those few. The movie Alien had much the same effect! ^=^ Yet I have no problem with spiders and their penchant for liquidising their prey. Wonderful macro! ^0^
Great shot DOF is super and this is a better exposure than the last. will reply to your email soon.
What a great portrait shot. It looks like it was patiently waiting for you to finish up. :o)
One very funky looking dude, great pov, love the color in his eyes.
