Description
This render is inspired by the entertainment/media industy's move to "update" Dora to a teenager in order to help market a new toy line to the audience that grew up with her to compete with popular street-walking-diva fashion dolls.
In all fairness, the original Dora was in elementary school in 1999. By now, she should be in high school or college anyway.

Excellent work!
Good render. Interesting idea, but I doubt it will find much success. Dora as a grade school figure did things most kids could only dream. Teenagers can and do almost anything today. Little girls still want to grow into adult women (think Barbie etc.). I agree that some of the current doll offerings do look like street walkers, divas, and kept women. The mother buys the doll the little girl wants (Princess factor at work). But few mothers, IMO, want a teenage icon/role model in the the house. The example of GetRealGirl dolls is instructive.
Very nice render, excellent done!
