Description
Renderosity farmers please hold off and give the Renderosity city-slickers a chance:-)
I live near farms but have to put myself in the city-slicker category. This took me a little while to figure out but I got it.
One place I looked, it was simply labeled, "the scariest machine I've ever seen". LOL
Have fun,
Bill

Yes, a hay rake. Super shot.
I have a similar photo, but not in my gallery, and of course the one I have has a barn for a backdrop.. Nice shot, and fun to see all the guesses.
AWWWWW I missed the quiz, got the answer before saw pic!!!! Lovely summer pic.
Medieval torture device?
Lol I had to wait as spent my childhood on a farm nice bit of nostalgia even if this one is made for American sized fields ;-)
I haven't looked at any comments OR your answer! Honest! I think it's a device for parting hair! No! A device for gathering hay in a line so it can be bailed? Hows that? Rob.
The machine that makes crop circles? Looks pretty alien to me. I stop for machinery, too. And rust. Nice June calendar page.
ok you gave it away and I hadn't even commented yet! That's ok (lol), I figured it had to do with gathering grasses. I too loved Denise's answer: Yeah, Jackson Pollock would've loved one of those! When I first saw it, you know what I thought? (Time to embarrass myself:) A machine with lots of straw hats that completely fell apart....Anyway, it's a great capture, and I wouldn't wanna be near it when it has a bad hair day...and "whip-a-diddle" is a fine name for me...
I would say a cultivator, but then I don't know what a cultivator is. I have never seen anything like it. A crowd-control machine for riot-torn cities?
