Description
Here is the male Banded Pennant to compare with yesterday's female. This is one of the smaller sized species and are just a little over 1 1/4" in length.
As is often the case, the young males have body colors similar to the females. As they reach maturity, they exude a waxy substance the gives them a different color and often some change their eye color also.
Another pair starting tomorrow.
