Description
One after the other, travelling at near hypersonic speed, the six metal spheres smash into the terrorist base, shattering on impact, spraying out shrapnel in all directions. As fuel tanks are ruptured they explode and secondary explosions occur as the Scud missiles and their launch vehicles catch fire.
Watching the devastation from the nearby hills the two SWORD agents are sure that their mission has been a total success, until they see a shape raising from the far side of the terrorist base, a side which has been hidden from them till now.
A second terrorist VTOL transport has managed to make it into the air and is even now climbing away from the destruction below.
Swiftly activating the self-destruct on the Triangular unit they then race to their waiting Armadillo, mount-up and race off in hopes of catching the fleeing transport before it climbs out of range of their onboard weapons systems.

Cool image! Take that Tangos! I'm no weapons expert but I'm pretty sure that mass-driven projectiles dropped from orbit would impact with an effect like nuclear weapons! Look at what happens when even a small meteorite hits Earth. Wicked series and it sound like the chase is on! Go get 'em girls!
