Description
Well it's a bit over the top, but why not... This wild 'linoleum sunset' visited me a few weeks ago, when I decided I didn't have enough 'apocalypses' in my life (!) You might wanna wear sunglasses, but other than that, have fun!
I've been to half your galleries now & I'll get to the others tomorrow. Thanks for your concern---I'm resting---but commenting the first time has been wonderful. I'll be back every week for a while...

WOOOHOOW! I believe all these wonderful colors are healing to the mind. I feel it that way, when I look at them. Looks so beautiful to my eyes. FAV !
fine combination of lines and colours, mark
Helle is right, it has the same restorative effect as contemporary stained glass! Whatever you're on, I want some!
Wild indeed. Superb in full size!!
The colours are quite wonderful and i love the horizontal lines. It appears to me like looking at the sunset throught a blind ..The yellows are bright!I like this very much!!
Fantastic colors and design. So much energy here, Mark.Welcome back, friend.
Mark this one is SO COOL !!! It has to be seen in full size as it is simply breathtaking that way. Mandi is right about the colors and the design and it reminds me so much of looking through one of those old hand held Kaleidoscopes like we all had as kids
I want to live where the sunsets look like this! Fantastic work, Mark!
Is it my imagination, or are the weeks going by really fast these days? :D I love the look of ruched silk batik ... and those colors!! Spectacular!
Wow... a contemporary window at the edge of the world! Beautiful and restorative. Keep 'em coming!
Over the top..? Not a bit of it! Glorious splashes of colour illuminate the mind...
Shades of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY! A nonpareil kaleidoscope of colors and layers rarely seen in public, Mark! A veritable soup of paramecium and stuff usually seen through a microscope, but much more concentrated. And, a zoom indicates one of the filters used was Poster Edges.
Very nice image. Great colours! Really nice work.
I do remember the long tube well...telescope like...a twist and the sound of spilling glass shards as they realligned themselves into a bright new pattern. That's what you've done for us here. You've just caused the kaleidoscope to prepare a new feast for the eye... A great visual from memory lane:)
What a wonderful day and beginnings. Excellent creation and colors. Wow! Full of energy and beauty.
Over the top--hardly--it speaks to me loud and clear with joy and life and love!!
There is something magical about color that just stirs the soul and excites the spirit. This sunset is wild with imagination and what could be more sane than that? CC
Yes you know all about vibrancy, and yes it is good to give the eyes a treat to some wonderful vibrant colours, and then on looking into it further I see how much work has gone into this amazing artwork, I am still loving your style Mark, don't do too much now, remember to take it slowly and stay cool :o) hugs Jane xx
Beautiful!!!
This is such an energizing post and so well done! Glad to see you back posting.
Beautiful horizontal stained glass drapery!
