Description
took this yesterday evening.I recently bought a gear driven Manfrotto tripod head and a legs separate for to use with my 50-500mm Sigma lens.I got the head for a price I could not pass up, 1/3 third of the original cost
finally we had a moon that was big enough in daylight.every evening it had been obscured
thanks for looking and any comments

Wow. One day I would love to be able to walk on it - one day.
I'd love to have the equipment to get moon shots this good, there's so much I want on a limited budget lol. Impressive work Richard!
Nice shot along the terminator. I have taken moon shots with my Meade 8" 2000 MM CG telescope with a film camera with mixed results.Maybe one of these years I can afford a CCD device. I took a few shots with my Olympus C-8080 at max zoom and got a couple fair pics. I don't think I posted.
