Description
If you go down to Sherwood Forest, be very careful, you never know who you are going to meet!
I have a special affinity with the Robin Hood legend, as I was born in Nottinghamshire, and I remember as a young lad being taken to Sherwood Forest and left there...
No, no, only joking! I wasn't left there! But I remember visiting "The Great Oak" which is huge, very old and with a hollow trunk and legend has it that this is where Robin slept. In those days you could actually go in yourself, very cosy! A few years ago, I took my own kids but these days you can't actually go in the tree - protection from vandalism, a sign of the times I guess.
Anyway, I hope you like the image! Character is Ana Lucia by Syltermermaid (again - I really like her!), outfit is Courageous with Fearless textures (both from Daz), and the forest uses vegetation from HowieFarkes sets but in surface replicators that I did myself. I also did the hair.

Trumpet fanfare, arrow thudding into a tree... Cue the theme song from the Richard Greene TV series... Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the Glen Hoo hoo... love this. Nice one Phil... and will she be cavorting in these woods in rather less clothing in the future?
Wonderful image and thanks for sharing your memories, too. I VERY rarely disagree with Allen (psduck), but I must this time: Surely you could give her something a LITTLE more substantial than that little ole' letter opener LOL! The textures and lighting are superb and I particularly like Ana Lucia (gotta go check this one for sure). And you have surely become a master at Carrara dynamic hair, its fantastic! Great job Phil!
