Description
This is a work in progress of a Moog Modular Synthesiser which I hope to use in a little project I've had an idea for.
I'd like to create a render of a live band performance. This may, perhaps, be a little ambitious for my limited talents but you have to try, don't you? :-)
It will require me to build a number of custom objects and this was the first one I tackled.
I'm still playing around with the texturing and scaling but still not completely happy with either - plus there are still a couple of bits to add to the model.
I had considered fully modeling the panels but finally settled for textures instead as, when it is placed on a semi-dark stage, the extra detail of a fully modeled panel would be lost anyway.
Still, hope you like what you see.
Wish me luck. :-D

all you need now in the pic is Keith Emerson
wow....someone else has tried this besides me (granted, mine's almost 6 years ago, probably the last page of my gallery..;) Looks like Kieth Emerson's rig; the sequencers are on the top row, still a little room left there (got to take a course on one of these in College) However, this is much better, since you actually labeled all your modules. Great work here. There's another module that went on top of the keyboard; it was a long strip where you could do glissandos and pitch bends (before there were pitch wheels...;) Keep 'em coming.
Looking great so far, like the idea, excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keith Emerson was a personal friend of Robert Moog and the first to use a Moog Synth in live performances. This just needs 500 jack cables for realisms sake;-)
I'd wondered if anyone would spot the absence of jack cables. They will have to go in in postwork if they seem necessary as I'm not good enough to model them. :-D
