The title refers to a description I heard someone make in explaining what exactly a puffin looks like. It stills makes me grin. The Atlantic Puffin is one of my latest birds in my new project (puffins and auks). This puffin known also as the 'Common Puffin' is the only puffin species which is found in the Atlantic Ocean. The curious appearance of the bird, with its colourful huge bill and its striking piebald plumage, has given rise to nicknames such as "clown of the ocean" and "sea parrot". It primarily lives on hunting fish at sea, but will eat crustaceans and squid. Rendered in Poser Pro with no post (Vue rendered background)

I love that description. But, you forgot to mention that the females are famous for their adulterous affairs - snicker! Very cool rendering.
