Description

Just before the taking off, GOD herself summoned JS: "I know that the President ordered you to report directly to him, since you got your position by Presidential order. But here is a direct, super-crypted line to report to me. You'll get your orders from me first of all, if it'll be needed. Your actions honoured the Regiment and all of GOD. I sent a dispatch to the "Leonis" Sector Admiral to meet you and supply you with another platoon of Space Marines from the 2nd SpecOp Regiment to add to the platoon already in New Mars. The admiral is due to give you all the support you'll ask for." "Elite troops - JS thought - This means that we are a split second from open warfare". "Good luck, lieutenant commander" GOD added, giving him his orders. JS was received with the utmost courtesy at the flagship of the 5th Fleet, Leonis Sector. He also got acquainted with his SMs. Once landed at Bradburyton, he was up to his neck in redtape, paper pushing, and diplomacy. Reactions to his arrival varied. The SMs were happy that there was one from GOD in charge and not a "pushing-paper-and-bleeding-heart" guy from GUN or the humanitarian diplomacy, now that it was rough play's time. "I promise you - JS had told them during an impromptu speech. Ours won't be the next hearts to bleed!" and his SMs had grinned openly. Most civilians were annoyed and in turmoil, because JS's appointment created a lot of problems to them. And a lot of speculation, too. The Rogues reacted by substituing their elderly consul with a younger one coming from the ranks of their military aristocracy. "Well, we measured each other's size," JS pondered. During the first three days, JS didn't even try to go to the Martian city. The more he succeeded in keeping Eve and the others' profiles low, the better. It was much safer for them, because as the new N.M.'s commander, every move of his was observed and weighed by too many Rogue and Earthener eyes. Thank you to all people who appreciated the previous picture! Thank you for viewing and drop a note if you like! DAZ: Michael 4 /3; Neftis: Daryl Hair; Lyrra: M4 Ensign; J.
