A very excellent capture. Such a lovely bird and such a clarity.
Wow, excellent shot! We have them all over here, but they never sit still...
And just when I was excited about my recently taken Woodpecker photos, sigh... This is simply perfect!
Wonderful shot! We have one that comes to our yard (I think it's the same one), and he doesn't seem to be afraid of us. We can get quite close to him.
Well worth the wait I would say Maria, congratulations on a great capture. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Wow, beautiful, glad you got your pic.
Worth the wait Maria, superb, and such a great pose
Wonderful and beautiful portrait
fabulous !
He seems nervious having someone looking over his shoulder while he pecks! ;)
Well captured...and a male. I've only seen a couple of little females. Husbands may be out at the golf course:)
A lovely capture. He's a beauty.
Spectacular capture of the spectacular textures on both the elusive birdie and the tree bark, Maria! I was under the impression that woodpeckers had relatively long beaks. Love your background blurring which generates great contrasting.
Sharp shot with wonderful bokeh...always nice to get a good shot of something that has been eluding you for so long....Aloha~
Wonderful shot my friend.....!!!
And he seens to have his eye on you. Beautiful capture. Dana
