Description
The Brown Thrasher is related to the Mockingbird and the Catbird, but larger and quite impressive at 11.5 inches long.
A ground feeder, he rustled through leaves looking for insects, and jumped into last year's unattended bird bath.
I was able to get a couple of shots before he heard me. This is a first time visitor to my yard.
Thank you very much for your kind comments on my last upload. I appreciate it. Thanks for looking.
