Description

Hello all my Rosity friends.... My first Iris are appearing...This is the first time one of this color has ever came up..A few people sent me some Iris last year and this is one of them.....Another color that is going to appear looks to be like a light blue one...I am so tickled with these colors... After chemo last week my son rode with my girlfriend to pay her cell phone bill, usually I ride with her if I feel like it but was too sick to go this time and he comes back with me a hanging plant...full of beautiful blooms...It is called Calibrachoa or Million Bells he said it was my Mother's Day present and I bursted out in a cry.......First time in a long time no Fushcia...but I love all the little colorful flowers on this plant...I want to go to the greenhouse and get my Zinnia's she sells hers for only 85cents..and her hanging basket full for only $11 where as Walmart's are $20 and Up.... My washing machine broke down so gonna have to get a good used one somewhere....and hubby's job assignment ended today.....so guess he will go back to drawing unemployment..was going to save up and get wallpaper to fix the mom's house I inherited...wallpaper...now will have to pinch pennies again.....thank heavens we put most of all of his check in the bank....were not destitute but not really rich either..In other words we can by...but very carefully..who doesn't these day???? Had my bone scan...The Oncologist couldn't tell if it was a fracture or if the cancer had come back..One is on my spine and one is on my right rib cage..So he had me go get what seemed like fifty x rays...and two days later the nurse calls and said a place shown up on my left leg..so had to go yesterday and get an MRI of my leg..and go back in July for a re peat of the bone scan..Either way it is at a place it is in operable.....So I am stuck with it...They are going to change my chemo so I won't be so sick...Instead of it taking half hr it will now take an hour and half........I am all for not getting sick......Getting out a little more and enjoying the sun......and getting some pics... TY all for commenting on my last image and also for those who favorited me...It means a lot.... I see my Family Dr Tues for med refills..Hubby wants me off Morphine but it really does help the pain..I may cut myself down some since summmer is here........I do so want to enjoy my flowers my front porch and the hummingbirds..Can and will if it ever quits raining in Ky...today was the first day in over a week we haven't had any rain..but due in for storms after midnight...No one can plant flowers or get their tobacco set out due to the rain....... All post work done in PSP 9 I just fixed hue and saturation addedd 2 borders instead of a frame and my name....... Thank you for any comments you leave and also thank you if you favorite me... Please keep me in your prayers........ Love you all Susan aka Blush~

I am so happy you got this color to bloom for you. I have a few and they are so special. I have the light blue ones too and a white that starts out with a hint of blue that it loses after it matures. Oh, I have so many different colors and each one is special. This is a most perfect capture and presentation!

What a glorious flower Susan. You should ignore anyone who wants you off your necesary pain control, but Morphine can be a bit drastic. There ARE other opeates that have the same strength as Morphine but without the side effects, say for example nausea or tiredness. Check them out, but I cannot give you a name, because it might be branded differently in America, but please insist that your Doctor, considers a different family of pain control for you. I did that for my Mom, with phenomenal results She became more coherent and generally more aware of her surroundings and had a better quality of life as a result. To be pain free is your RIGHT! Take care! Steve :o)

Your photo, and your Iris are sooo beautiful, Susan. It looks very royal and special. Thank you so much for sharing you journey with us. I can understand and relate to it very well. With tongue in cheek I say, "When it rains, it pours". Sometimes its the weather, and sometimes it is other things. But do keep in mind that at some point the skies clear and the sun shines, and with the rain and sun, beautiful flowers blossom, just as in you photo. You and your family continue to be in my heart and prayers.

Susan, I have a love for flowers too,and I let sadness take away my green thumb. You've taught me some lessons. I've been paying attention to you, more than you know. Now I have been nurturing an orchid. It's on it's third blooming, and it's giving me 11 flowers now. There is something to be said for enjoying the little, but miraculous side of life. There is joy in that, and I think it heals us either spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Love you sweet friend.. What a beautiful Iris..you are. HUGS Robin
