Description
The photo is smaller and distant for the same reason I use a watermark on a very low percentage of photos. I trust you know why. I enjoy sharing my hobby results but do not like finding my photos on other websites etc without my permission. This has happened in the past and so I will most times post a slightly lower resolution photo, watermark the ones I offer to magazines in query, entered in contests, etc,or show the photo reduced. I hope that makes sense. Thank you all for your interest in viewing and for the comments you may leave. Best to all, -GB-

Splendid capture, a bit of confrontation going on here. I suppose I would feel the same way if I ever found other people using any of my work, I can't see what other photographers would gain from that.
Lovely capture, Is beautiful to see the wonder of nature trough your eyes!!! :)
Great Capture George and Yes I know what you mean as I have been dealing with the same issues as of late.
yeah it make a lot of sense. thanks for sharing your work did you happen to ask them what they were fighting about?
matbe that is where people got the "turkey trot"? I have not seen any of mine elsewhere because I do not have enough time to browse here the way I want
AMAZING!
fantastic shot!!
Great Capture agree with what you said, had the same
very nice scene!!!!!
Excellent capture.
Wow! Wonderful capture. What a show to watch play out.
I can understand your reasoning for your watermark completely, in fact I am really surprised you dont use it somewhere in ALL your photos. You spend YOUR time and hard earned money on your hobby, and are kind enough to share with us folks these beautiful photographs. I am sure you would be furious to find that someone else had used YOUR photo's anywhere or anyway without your permission!!! I think yesterday's photo was still completely viewable and still magnificent just the way it was. Don't appologize GB...you have every right!!! Hope you are having a good day :)
are they vultures?
How wonderful to witness the rites of other species! I completely understand the watermark issue also, my remark was only regarding the placement. My own stuff isn't good enough for someone to want to steal yet, but I sort of hope to have to deal with that someday.
fantastic shot
Another fine shot of these two males competing with each other. Wonder which one won? :-)
F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. 5+.
Excellent capture, you can tell someone is upset about something, LOL. Sadly, I do understand why water marks are need.
fantastica pareja.
wonderful capture again .. !
most fantastic shot!!! you're right about watermarks!!!!!
Of course it makes sense, I should do that too but I keep forgetting:-( I got your email today, sorry, have been so busy had not checked my mail. Anyway I love these, so amazing to me to see this as I never have seen wild turkey before! Great shots George, thanks for sharing!
Great capture and it is annoying when people steal your work. You'd think they would feel guilty!!!
Fab pic! I never look at any other website, but i've been told by friends that my pics appear elsewhere. Sad that folk can't be bothered to take there own!
A wonderful capture.
