Description
Caught this Red-bellied Woodpecker picking up a few easy seeds and nuts. [Verified the name/coloring online but am always wide open to anyone with more knowledge than I have, particularly when it comes to birds!] :)
Location...my back deck this afternoon.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bill:)

FANTASTIC!!!!
Wow! They are always so shy. Wonderful work.
Excellent Bill those claws are made for hanging onto bark!!
Very nice photo, bird is adorable.
Cool colors, lighting and textures in this super shot of the fine feathered bird, Bill! You'll be catching up with CavalierLady after a while. I'm not a bird maven, but that doesn't look like any woodpecker I've ever seen.
excellent photo!
We don't have these here. Very nice!
Beautiful Photo. Outstanding.
Patience has rewards. Excellent capture.
She's beautiful. Well done.
Beautiful bird and a nice sharp capture! If they are as shy as the Flickers we have around where I live, you did very well to catch this one on film.
A wonderful capture again. Beautiful woodpecker.
Okay whats the trick to get them to sit still that long? :) Bill this is beautiful!!
Great shot, Bill! I never see one sit still for a shot this close...
This is a wonderful capture, it is so close and clear. Well caught and what a beautiful looking bird.
Great capture Bill. Good enough to be used in the Audubom Society recognition guide, Sig..
What a fabulous shot! Congratulations!
Great shot Bill, but I wouldn't know a Blue Tit from a Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker!

Jaw hits the floor!!!! That is a stunner of a picture. Really well caught. As to confirmation - well, anything I would snap, would have to wait till I got near a PC and the Internet until I knew what it was! U.K. yep! U.S. no idea! Great one, Bill Rob.
