The light here was so great, the top was lit by the sun, the rest was in shadow.

It shines with brilliant light. Reminds me of an oil painting. A definite fave for my collection.
So very beautiful! It looks so rich...

Your signature bold and vibrant colors...even in shade. :-)

Gorgeous light and detail! Wow. Beautiful image!
Hot and cool at the same time! Neat. I'd know this as yours even without your avatar:)
Beautiful Pansys...
Such a striking image! Powerful pansy!
Beautiful composition. excellent work
One of my favourite flowers is the pansy, I think its because we had so many of them in our garden when I was young living at home with mum. Excellent image Marylin. Bravo!!!!!
You coped with what can be some difficult lighting for a cam to sort out on a good level compromise, great work hun!
SPLENDID
Great Close up!
GREAT SHOT!
Wonderful contrast and so beautiful colours.
Topnotch clarity and very happy petal colors and textures adorn this fabulous macro, Marilyn! Stellar contrast against the dark background. And the white pansy at the top left looks like it's been nibbled on.
This is fantastic. As always, your color jumps out at me and that's a good thing. The light/shadow play is totally spot-on! I love this is so many different ways, but rather than rhapsodize forever, I'll keep my big ol' trap shut and just bask in the almost shimmering beauty of this. I will say, however, that I love the veins of color you've captured so sharply. This image is so alive!
Beautiful colors and detail. Very well done. Dana P
