Beautiful capture...
lovely capture x
That deep blue makes it look ominous. A place where things lurk below the surface.
It's just like a scene from a Daphne du Maurier novel!! FAB!
Beautiful indigo blue water.
great color!
I agree with PJ it has a very ominus look about it. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
GREAT SHOT!
We had a pond near home called Blank Ink Pond... Your river looks like blue ink today. Nicely seen and photographed.

Dark and mysterious secrets come to mind! nice one Maz(as Ronnie would say)
I love the darkness. It is a beautiful place and the water has an unequalled colour!Fav
cool looking
Stellar deep dark mood in this one. It brings to mind a ton of ocean or lake horror movies -- and I've seen 'em all -- that would go along with this, Marilyn.
I know just how you feel.
Darkness and depth are two of the things that fascinate me the most; and this image has both, as the title implies. I'd say that it was somber, but there's a brilliance here that gives it life--some of it is from the color itself, but I think most of it comes from the actual play of light on the water itself and on various leaves. It's a great shot that captures the complexity of many different moods. Great.
