Description
A mix of native Californian Wildflowers from my garden. I know something different than birds? Well, the first flower, the Lavender/White: Bird's Eye Gilia (Gilia tricolor), Yellow: Goldfields (Lasthenia californica), White Tips/Yellow Center: Tidy Tips (Layia platyglossa) and Red: Scarlet Bugler (Penstemon centranthifolius).
Since there's no real focus in the image, I tried to balance the composition with color and texture and think I was reasonably successful-- I suggest looking at the larger version-- some nice detail.
Oue garden was recently on the Theodore Payne Native Plant Garden Tour...

most excellent imaage Ken
These are so beautiful Ken.
You must have the gardeners touch! I have no luck in sprouting wildflowers like this. I have no problem with the poppies but the rest elude me. These are so beautiful and I'd love to see them in person. I bet they are stunning as they sway in the breeze.
Wonderful image. You must have a great garden.
Gorgeous!
I like it - and I like the diagonal line of the lavender flowers.
