Description
Thought I'd share some photos of the Spring storm we are having in Colorado. I live in the high country in the mountains and we got about 5 feet the last day or so.
Easter weekend it was sunny with spring weather so I bought a bunch of flowers to plant on my deck. Before I could plant it began to snow a little. One day sunny, next day snow. Happens to me every year. And then this huge storm. All my little pansies are waiting on my solarium for this storm to blow over. But it's a BIG one and we are still buried and trying to dig our way out.
Hope you are having sunnier days.

O my.....this looks so brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...so I can imagine that you are longing for real spring with blooms and sunshine...but I still like the shots...lovely winterscapes
Hi Carol, that is some storm you have there. My parents live in Colorado in the Parker Area, visit Black Hawk all the time. Talked with them earlier and heard about all that snow...amazing. And your images of it really capture it well.
Beautiful if not welcome. Winter's last gasp hopefully.
Very Beautiful Winter...um I Mean Spring View !! :)
Oh you poor thing!! tsk I hope you guys get some warmer weather soon, late in the year snow is always stressful, my cousin goes through it all the time. Your poor flowers, having to wait on a new home!! laughs Well, at least you got some good pictures. It's always sunny in Florida. Too sunny, sometimes. Temperate enough today, thankfully. I'll wish some sunshine your way, my dear!
wow, now that's a lot of snow!!! Things here are finally warming up in Minnesota! :)
Oh carol, your snow cone bird houses look like little white nomes with no faces, and sorry u have so much, but here in Vegas we could use more of the watery stuff, why so unbalanced, yea stupid question i know, but thanks for sharing a part of your world
Carol the photos are really nice but WOW you got hit hard for so late in the season
Ahhh, I'm so glad I'm not there to share the fun this time. And this my dear friend is why I live in California and not Colorado any longer. ;o) Superb captures. You will have a mass of gorgeous spring flowers on those mountains soon though. Hugs, Bunny
This is not inviting at all! ;) Prayers you can dig your way out!
Bunny - yes, I'm from Calif so I know. But you are right, we will have glorious flowers soon, and we've actually had very light snow this past winter, so this is very good for the land.
Lovely collage!! things can only get better it always does!!!! great work Carol!!!
Wow, that is a lot of spring snow
holy @#$t!
Beautiful winter collage to look at, though I think it would be very cold to live through. I hope you get a fast melt so that you can get your summer flowers planted. The birds would be thrilled to see your feeders. Keep warm.
You snow photos are just lovely. A wonderland, but I have never figured out how you folks in cold countries mange to keep warm! Is it cruel of me to mention that tomorrow I'm going to the pool? (Florida weather)
Wow this is some snow storm! How beautiful.
Wonderful collage.
Bummer Carol, just when you thought it was safe to go outside ! Well you have done a great job of presenting this slight hiccup to your Spring ! ~Cheers~
OMG Sweetie....how terrible!!! And here I thought we in New England had it bad....Sending WARM Hugs your way and I hope you see a REAL Spring soon :-) {{{{Hugs}}}}
Beautiful shots of your snow storm. Hope you get dug out and keep warm. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my! And I thought a few days after a ice storm looked bad. I would not be able to walk out the door with 5 ft of snow. I hope you are staying warm and that you are able to get out soon. Even though it may be difficult right now, the images are stunning!
