Description
The border is a landfall, a cork, and a shore. Flotsam and Jetsam were two typical drifters, floated down to New Mars from somewhere far beyond. In fact, nobody had ever seen someone of their race so far.
The dumping ground was their kingdom, their hunting ground, their playground. That afternoon they were loading the baskets full of trash to sell for recycling on their war slug's back. Suddenly Jetsam turned to see what had made the slug bellow. "Look at that," she shrieked. "There's an Earthener over there!"
