Good one maz nice effect, sorry I aint been around all day, big brown out in my area, I was like an amputee without the computer, ROFL!
cool looking
Certainly not the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but it does appear to be in launch mode. You've been on a real steeple chase lately, M! Actually, it's the only object of color and artificial construction in this composition, and centered apart from the silhouetted foliage, which really makes it stand out.
I love the steeple against the lovely pale sky and amongst the silhouetted trees. Great image!
Love how you purposely positioned yourself to grab the natural framing!
A tower in the gloaming. A jaunty view. I like it.
really nice capture, I like the angle, it makes it cut through the sky even more. And your tones/colors are very reflective (as the Carmelites would want it). Also, the trees shimmer against the sky, and feel imbued by some mysterious light—also as the Carmelites would want it. You really got some beautiful images from this place. I love the palm tree shooting through the mix: Brings home where this is. (It couldn't be far north & it couldn't be where I live.) Considering that the Carmelites got their big push forward in Spain, it's a very fitting image. Very nice work, Marilyn. All your monastery shots are.
