Description
After finishing Remembrance I wondered how it would look in negative. So I added a white layer and set the merge mode to difference (working in UF). And this came out. I liked it a lot, but thought it was just too easy. So I tried to change it, in the formula, the colouring, the shapes, but to no avail. I kept coming back to how it was.
Since this is the negative of Remembrance, what should it be called? In other words: what is the opposite of Remembrance? Would like to know your suggestions.

super !! heel anders van sfeer, en erg krachtig
Forgetfulness. They're are both beautiful, can see these hung together.
lovely!I love your new style Yvonne x 5+
WOW !!! it is gorgeous. And thank you for reminding us what the command NEGATIVE can do. In this case a very positive result.
Wow!!! This is just so very beautiful. It has such a peaceful feel to it. I like both images - one showing such power and one showing such peace.
This is lovely, Yvonne. Ref your question -- How about "Oblivion"??
Wonderful!!!
See, you're thinking in other directions than I did. Remembrance - forgetfulness/oblivion. I understand that. But I was thinking more in the lines of: Remembrance is of the past. What is it of the future?
WOW! The inverse version is just as good if not better. Nice one, Yvonne!
Wonderful colors and atmosphere in the negative version, too!!!
The words 'thoughts lost' comes to mind. This is stunning work!
Exactly ditto what Henny said! This is gorgeous ~ looks like a watercolor painting!! Love the negative color combo Yvonne...it's so positively stunning!!
Elegant and beautiful! Superb colors and lighting. Wonderful textures. Bunny
I love the colouring of this one but I can never think of titles my mind seems to go blank.
great piece of work Yvonne @};-
Ik vind deze prachtig, maar eerlijk gezegd vond ik het positief toch spannender. Wat betreft de naam, wat denk je van "Expectations"? Die kunnen bij de huidige crisis niet hoog genoeg gespannen zijn.
Foreknowledge? Maybe that is what you are looking for, since perhaps foreknowledge of colors made you look for the other side. :)
Congratulations! This image has been chosen for the Fractal Window Weekly in the Fractal SubCommunity. You will find the announcement in the Fractal Forum.
