Description

Same orchid** from yesterday, but with a different, well, everything!! It didn't turn out the way I was thinking, but I ended up liking it a lot. The sun's rays, the bamboo~~ I don't know, just some kinda quirky stuff that caught my eye!! **orchid

SERENDIPITY! If we didn't know it was an orchid, I could imagine something strange had got in to the drink when I wasn't looking, to slurp it all up. That is your garden? It looks wonderful!

Cool. Following up on Andrea's thoughts...you can always show us around the yard a bit at some future time too. My yard looks like a wasteland in winter but yours is still green.

Now see! You ruined my image! I was picturing some alien craft spinning in for a landing! There seems to be much motion in this. I do like it too. Although I couldn't say why. Perhaps because without the explanation it is open to interpretation.

I'm liking the light in the background...shows why you shouldn't trash ANY shots on a whim!

I like looking through the water in the glass to the view beyond. And Denise is right, of course. You shouldn't trash shots on a whim!!

It is realism at it's best. This is how I'd see my drink after finishing off 2 previous to this...from table top level and with a blinding blur. LOL Great shot Marilyn.

Mistakes are what makes the rubber eraser industry alive. Also the condom manufacturers. Very unique reverse focus shot you have presented us with here, Marilyn.

some great comments. I agree with james (arthur), and love goodoleboy's comment, and agree with denise & tara, don't trash those creations! They always speak to us down the road...Really, this could be a montage, even though I know it isn't: You got all kinds of interesting juxtapositions & textures, and the swirl of the glass makes it look like we're seeing the background (your yard, right?) through a space-craft's lens. A lot of fun. I say do these whenever the muse strikes, you'll always come up with new ways of seeing...(and btw, I know others have said it, but this orchid looks like an exotic drink, and if you had people over and didn't tell them, they might take a swig!)
