Excellent capture!!Well done.!! ROBY ;o)
This is a real winner...this than is your back deck studio? The sunlight and shadow really makes this composition special and of course you did a great setup job. New type of martini?
WONDERFUL IMAGE! :)
Cool, it almost looks like there are stars in the cracks between the planks of the table...great shot in many, many ways!
slip a little rum in the glass and its off to the beach at sundown :)
sweet capture!
Love that shadow. Great study in light.
ticks all the right boxes for light, shadow, colour and composition.. good one! (I think it'd be good for the challenge ;))
How original!! You have sunlight in your garden...
super !
Ooooeee - I like a lot!!!!!!! Wonderful light indeed and it would have even been better if the glass was filled with something bubbly!!!!! :) Great image Marilyn!
Great shadow and light. Very artistic
Amazing dance of light and shadow!
Great POV...light the shadow and light...
I like it too wonderful capture warm hug, Linda
Can't get sloppy on those?...LOL, great capture sweetie.
Excelent compo, love the long shadow.
This is absolutely one of your best pieces. Just look at that composition! The way the bottom of the glass sits up against the edge of the board and the shadow sits up against the opposite edge is just perfect. I love the long shadow, the way you've cropped the shot, the light ... everything!! Awesome work.
oh this is wonderful
That long shadow is marvelous. Fabulous!
This shot with the elongated shadow is so spectacular it would make even Lamont Cranston envious. Mustn't overlook the super colors and textures either, Marilyn.
Absolutely wonderful shot, compo, color, texture and lighting are all well represented. : )
Very nice composition Marilyn!
Beautiful comp, textures & light are A1
Excellent display of different texture contrasts.
Ditto to all, above. They covered it all. This does border on abstract, with textures, highlights, shadows, the long shadow of the glass and just the forms themselves. You got some expressive & creative photos from this orchid-in-a-glass: It must be like a visual magnet. The piece really does sweep. I should look at the forum thread, it's probably bursting with all kinds of vivid images...pictures like this really drive home that photography doesn't require vast vistas 'outside': it requires genuine vistas inside—i.e., in our inner eyes. Creative work, one of the reasons I come to your gallery.
