Description
BUY THIS CAR!!!
Ninety-second in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.
For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08.
Coming down to the finish line with my remaining shots from the show, this one almost fell off the radar screen, and would never have been viewed by the RR audience if I hadn't double checked my folders. Also, for some reason it wasn't sitting alongside all the other Morgans located far off in a different section of the Golf Club area. Perhaps because it's a special breed it didn't want to mingle with the hoi-polloi.
In any case, since I'm too lazy today to research the pertinent details regarding this beauty with the alternate power souce, I'll just let it go at that. You're welcome to check it out if you wish.
Better viewed full size.
Thankx for clicking on, and have a tendentious Tuesday.

Very nice shot!
lovely 'vintage'car
great collage...
Glad you find this charming lovely blue automobil Harry. Realy love the last shot, those seats sitting so close as it should not like on modern bucket seats. We sitting so far from each other.
Harry I can just see you in this one, cruising down Pacific Coast highway. Stopping at an all night cafe..... ordering a rootbeer float and burgers. :) awesome love the color!!
I love these Morgans. Looking the car over carefully, it was an antique design even in 1980. I had cut down doors like this on a '63 Triumph and there were no roll-up windows. And the hood (bonnet) design goes back to some of the earliest cars like the 1908 Ford Model-T. All that aside, great photos...crisp, clear and very fine color.
Good thing you checked those folders! This one's a gem!
Wow! I love this one! Excellent shots...
looks wonderful. i buy it. I hear they good in town but not for the open road.
Check out those energy absorbing bumper supports..look like rubber covered springs...
Fantastic collage, excellent details and very beautiful colors. Looks superb!
Wow - look at those elegant lines and curves of this attractive lady! Fantastic find Harry and truly a beautiful set of wheels. Great image too!!!! (Apologies for my absence. I just don't seem to get around doing RR at the moment... Too many thing, too little time!!!)
What a beauty! There was about a 10 or 12 year waiting list for these at one point.
Enjoyed both uploads of this Morgan car... looks like a "kit car" to me, though it seems that it is not.
What a beauty, she looks to be in great shape. Nice capture Harry.
