Description
As I walked along the bay, I spotted these old pier posts. They've been there a long time, guess one of these days, they'll finally just fall.

love the picture. wel done
So peaceful both in content and colour! I really like the compostion...well I really like everything about it!
As strong as a thing may have been once...time takes its' toll. Rather of a sobering thought:) Excellent eye for illustrating an old truth.
Oh goodie! You found the perfect shot for the song. :) I love this picture. Wonderful composition, and the misty feel of it is nice.
Great felling to this capture ... Thanks for sharing
nice composition
fine compo in this shot, they are so colorful those posts and still withstanding to fall...smile
I love those old posts covered in moss! Nice compo!
Like the pastel colors!
Awesome composition, the angle of the posts leads you right to the stream entering/leaving the bay. Lovely soft light and color, great work!
Beautiful!
I like this lots warm hug, Linda
Fantastic image.
original shoty
Nice capture, like the shades of color from the combination of rot, weathering and just everything that has decided to stake out a spot on the posts
A zen picture :)
An interesting shot forsure. Aloha
very nice
By the time they fall, the dinosaurs will have returned... They look like they are rather combative with nature and intend to hold their place one way or another. :-)
It was really worth while zooming in on this pic, all the little details are phenomenal and...it shows the real age ! just like in our lives... Super capture Cheers BB
wonderful image
Great shot. Love the comp. and the light.
So much character in your shot of these old posts.
Excellent composition & find
lots of catching up to do, so let me start with the earlier stuff first... such a melancholy quiet feel, your hues speak of a quiet moment late in the piers' days. Love the angle, the little inlet you caught, and the quiet water behind (and the feeling we're looking at two miniature continents peering across a bay)...Also love the green molded tips of the piers. A very unified piece, tonally, and reflective and 'end of day' too. Another mood from the infinite waters around you, which you've captured and given us in your gallery...
