lovely capture
Bird brains, LOL! I have no idea what they might have been doing but these are really great shots of 'em doing it!
Beautiful Shot!
Whatever they are looking for in the soil. small worms etc, they are probably washing their bills, excellent shots.
damned if i know! cool shots though.
Very nice
So cute and funny scene. wonderful collage!!
Eating and then washing off their bills, I suppose. And that one duck is certainly digging quite a hole there. Nice collection of photos to tell the entire story.
Wonderful collage!!
Yep they wash their bill after "filtered" the mud. If you look at a closeup of a duck's or goose's head you can see that the bill has many small lamelles. :) Nice photos!
Interesting set of captures. I think the explanation of washing their bills fits it. They are beautiful ducks. ;o)
Fascinating ablutions!
LOL LOVELY COLLAGE :)
LOVE IT Wonderful collage!
Darned if I know but I'll go with the washing, couldn't find what a "lamelle" was. A very interesting collage & really like the ducks feather coloring.
Clearly they're making mud packs for their facials! Or maybe they're watering the seeds they've planted? Maybe you should ask them.... great shots!
You are so imaginative !!! Great pictures !!!
Excellent capture!!! :o)
These are such cute shots!
Don't know what they are doing but they are so cute
