Description
Taken near Harmony, MN while passing in the car! These buggies are seen often traveling on the side of the road as there is an Amish community nearby.
Thank you for the look.

lovely flow and movement!
Apert from the modern road surface, this is a timeless capture, would have worked great in sepia?...Having said that it's still a great capture!
great shot!
Wonderful capture!!
Really nice Jodie. Happy new Year to you!
Wonderful image !!!
Hi Jodie ! very interesting capture, looks like a photography from a movie, excelente ! I wish you a very happy and creative year !, thanks jodie.
Very interesting elements together, ripe wheat (?) and straight lines mixed with an earthly simplicity. Certainly a community I would love to visit and observe lifestyles and spiritual values if I go to the States.
What's this? That ain't no car! But at least he doesn't have to worry about the price of gasoline. Oats, maybe. Stellar POV employed, and pretty good clarity considering that both vehicles were moving at the time, Jodie.
Wonderful capture, would love to see more like it.
Great capture. Like the colors too.
like much of your work, a must-see at full-resolution. We see the real spread of the field and all that amber winter grass: It's an ocean. (And I love the little line of green along the edge...) Also it's nice that you caught the riding crop, because it melds with the grasses & the few trees in the background; your eye was thinking fast! A real midwestern shot, very real to any of us who live here, and a real Amish shot too: simple, direct, earthy and of another age. Very sensitive work, especially when one considers that you were in a moving car. Sensitive placement of signature too...
I find these wagons so beautiful, a perfect capture in colors and mood.Well, wintertime I think I would prefer a car LOL
oh i do love anything Amish! what a wonderful capture must all be covered with snow now!!! hope you had a wonderful holiday season Jodie~!
