Description
For a little while I could let go of computer problems and go out in the beautiful sunny but chilly weather.
This is as good a macro I can take with my little IXUS 850 IS.
Cannot compete with the pros, but it is sufficent for me :-)
Thanks for viewing and the comments you want to give
Sorry, I am way back in commenting all great images, but think I am excused.
Firewall broke down a while before 2009 started, and I got invaded of viruses. have been reinstalling and cleaning everything since then.
My head aches, but I have no virus, and now...not any of my computers either.
If I say so...this was stressfull LOL

Wow... that's so perfect! It looks like salt!! Thank you for sharing this with us, and a happy new year to you as well!
Stunning winter photo! Let's hope the viruses are the worst you experience in 2009, and that the rest of the year is as beautiful as your photo.
The snow makes everything so magical. A lovely macro. CC
a very fine image, gun.
A beautiful capture my friend ;O)
Never mind the pro's this is darn good If I say so myself... You got the frost as well too...I think the frost got everyone this time around.
Excellent shot!!

I'm more behind than you are! lol dont feel bad; just do what you can. This is a lovely photo.. I love the crystals!
I looks just like a flower don't it...Beautiful shot!
wonderful image Gun, and I know what you mean about a virus in your pc, that sucks......and about a lack in commenting......don't worry about that.......
OHH Gun, it is so beautiful. I am glad that atleast YOU can come out to take pictures. This one is magic. Yes, and as one said, it looks like salt :)
Lovely!
Glad to here you got rid of your bug problems! Nice close up!
oh, losing use of a computer can be absolutely maddening: It's like having your arms in a sling...and having to redo everything? It's like having to re-do your whole house...I hope it's all back to normal now. Re-doing a computer after major corruption can take days, just days, and it can be the most tedious work in the world! I really do sympathize. (You almost don't want to leave the house till it's finished, it's so demanding!) (Next time really, you should consider a Mac—they don't get viruses! Even if they don't have all the software of Windows, they're very nice to their owners...) Your photograph is beautiful & shimmering. Can't keep your eye from doing it's thing! A beautiful winter shot with nice frosty little petals & tentacles. I really like it, Gun. Hope you're feeling better now & when your computer starts behaving, scream at it, maybe it'll apologize and send you flowers. (Digital flowers. Can't be picky...) Lovely upload. Happy New Year to you! love & virus-free wishes, mark
A beautiful display of nature's symmetry. The frosty coating doesn't look cold in this image! Please relax and take a break while the computer has a mind of it's own. I'm with Mark as I own Macs - it's an artists' delight. I have a Dell at work so I get to compare the two daily and will choose a Mac every time!
This is a wonderful macro which shows the frost so well.
Beautiful capture Gun!
This is such a beautiful macro of the delicate ice crystals forming on the plant, and showing us how very cold it is there. I am sorry you have been having a rough time of it lately Gun, I wish you a much better 2009. hugs Jane xx
Awesome shot!
He seems to be peeping out and saying hello!
A beautiful reminder of winter's chill!
Oh Gun, this is so magical! Exquisite! No, I wouldn't compare it to the pros, it would embarrass them that you caught such a beautiful image with just your little camera! Grins!
beautiful shot:-)
