Description
This road runs between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald. Mittenwald is located at the base of these mountains and is famous for the Geigen (violins) that are produced there. The road surface seems damp and slippery, but at about 10F it was actually fairly save to drive on. I made this trip with my niece Claudia who showed me a few sights I had not previously seen.
This picture was taken on 29 December 2005.

I love how you captured this scene. Only could you have gotten a better exposure? I doubt you would want anyone to get depressed looking at your photos. Anyway, that is how it appears to me.
