Description
Sunny red petunias and lovely lobelia! A little something to beat the winter chill.
Another shot straight out of the camera.
I am SO tired of snow! I'm seriously considering a visit to see Carin and Bruce. THEY're sitting around the pool with nice cool beverages. I can see 'em from here! LOL!
For those of you who got a notice that I uploaded "Coreopsis" ... sorry about that! It looked all weird and pixelated once it was uploaded, so I took it down right away. You'll just have to imagine it. Brilliant, sunny, summer yellow flowers ... with really jaggy edges.

super summer colors
Matches my jagged mind right now! great picture this one is!
So gorgeous flower basket. Love the 2 red heads in focus surounded with blue. Such a fine mix.
This is superb. The red matches the red on Ronnie's (PD154's) closed pub sign. Now I bet you didn't expect anybody to make that connection :-) Bill
Beautiful warm refreshing colors and capture, on such a gray and brown winters day here in Oklahoma!!!
Excellent capture, the colors are so vibrant! Well done!
This does give a warmer feeling than the snow. Colors are stunning. Excellent choice.
so lovely
This is stunning and a welcome diversion from winter!!! I love snow, don't get me wrong, but it's the negative temps that have me well over it! I think there are a lot of us here that need a tropical vacation!!!! Merry Christmas!!!!
Two of my favourite summer flowers, thanks for brightening my day with memories of summer. A really beautiful shot, hugs Jane and wishing you a Merry Christmas, it is so good to be back. :o) xx
Very nice composiyion!! :)
These really are beautiful and sunny looking. Excellent capture.
Lovely
That never bothers me sweetie, I have done that myself, hell I even deleted the whole gallery once :)...smashing shot, lovely colours
Oh what a wonderful set of colors in this basket! I love the way the light is coming through the petunia. You keep saying that about visiting Carin and Bruce, and I may tag along with you! I've been freezing all day. ;o)
Carin and Bruce are gonna find themselves with quite a crowd---soon!! I do have a beverage, but I'm sure as heck not sittin in the pool!! Next to hibiscus, red petunias are my favorite flower and I love seeing these tonight as I listen to MORE rain. But better than your snow for sure!!
Lovely to see these colors today. Great capture!
This is a bright and cheerful shot. We don't have snow here but I can sympathize. I, however, love snow and wish it would fall in our valley. But that won't happen. We will get the hurricane force winds at some point this winter. :-)
You are tired of snow? We haven't had any yet. Yes! I miss summer to, but this shot makes it easy'er. It's beautiful
Fab colour! Thankyou for this really cheer-you-up pic, Tara!
This is just the most perfect way to dream about summer. PETUNIA and LOBELIA are a MUST for a really summer. Excellent capture :)
