Description
Sixty-first in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.
For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08.
Although essentially the same model and color as the one I posted on December 5, this is the convertible version. As mentioned before, the vehicle runs $222,060 new, so I won't even bother demanding BUY THIS CAR!!! Or maybe there are viewers out there that can actually afford this beauty.
A few specifications:
5.0L V10, 40 valve, 520hp @ 8000rpm.
6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
10 mpg in the city; 16 mpg on the highway.
There are also other Lamborghini models, such as the Reventon and the Murcielago.
Better viewed full size.
Thankx for peeking in, and drive carefully.

wow, the 3 and the last one are super, what a cool car this is..sorry for the lack in commenting, but you know why
Still out of my price range (I didn't win the lottery overnight!), and still a beautiful, if overpriced, car! Maybe if I drove it I might see why it costs so much, but that's not going to happen, so I'll stick with my Toyota... Again, beautiful portraits of this thoroughbred!
A different cachet than a Corvette C-6. The performance is similar. The mileage is not as good. It is the style that sells this one with the mechanicals to fill the cockpit with noises to match.
maybe you can rent the car lol anyway this is cool shots of the car
Just heard the other day that the Lamborghini dealership in California has closed. Supposedly they sold 10% of the world-wide production. So, its not just the big three in the USA that are up against it. Good collage of a very interesting vehicle...looks like afternoon fog rolling in...I remember that phenomenon well. Bill
Let me think, should I sell my house to get this beauty?...I say No. Should I put some money mothly a side to save up...I wont be around that long..lol so what left is for choice is to admire this fast head turner from a comfort of my chair. Thanks to share this convertible Harry.
Another beauty :)
Beautiful car and fantastic photos.
Interesting!
Excellent shots, especially the perspective on the third image is absolutely fantastic!
