Description
Early Saturday morning frost, the whole deck was covered and each board had its grain etched with the ice crystals. It was a sight to behold.

This is fantastic! I love the textural intensity of this, the subtle designs and the overall "feel" of the piece. It's gorgeous, and the crystals are so superbly defined here. Great stuff!!!
Excellence, the shapes in here are beautiful.

A wonderful natural study, the textures are superb! great capture!
Yesterday we had about 3-4 inches of snow this morning we had another sharp frost and the snow is crispy underfoot. The back yard is still covered as it is North facing and at this time of year the sun never touches it. I wanted to go out and take some shots of the frost at work but its that slippery I dare not. Thanks for sharing this one, very interesting especially around the knot, I like the way the frost has picked it out. Like Denise this is the first time I have seen frost with woodgrain. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Well seen... superb!
