Description
Originally this was taken simply as a quick snapshot of the white yacht. Glancing at it again the other day I noticed the four gulls paying no attention to all the business going on around them.
And with the Christmas season approaching, the tune of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" popped into my mind...hence the title...
Do you recall: A Partridge in a Pear Tree; Two Turtle Doves; Three French Hens; Four Calling Birds...
How about the rest of the words?

Beautiful place and fantastic photo.
Ok Bill! I challenge you to do the whole thing! You've got the best part of the month to plan it to start on Christmas day!! Love this one!
I echo Andrea's challenge... Great start Bill with a wonderful image!!!
There is a lot going on in this image. The tuna have the edge and the swordfish will finish it.
It's them Gulls again!! Camera hogs! A beauty of a sea scape though, my friend. Well done. Rob.
Yeah Bill, Do'em all. I have the swans, well actually they are geese, but you can photoshop them into a passable state. Great shot of The 4 calling Birds Cheers and a Pat to Mandy, Skipper62
Nice pic of the sport fisherman and rocky point.
wonderful!!!!
And they do call, too, quite loudly! Great capture...
Very cool capture and title! The light seems to be solar powered.
Nice shot Bill and the gulls in it make the picture.
Stellar clarity and vibrant contrasts in this wonderful composition, Bill! Fascinating that the gulls are all equally spaced. For the words to the 12 Days of Christmas song, go to: http://www.41051.com/xmaslyrics/twelvedays.html
Very cool title and what a scene. Starting to really eveny you your location Bill as I sit here on a very cold frosty night.
Great scene, it is amazing how little notice gulls take of humans and know exactly when there is a tit bit around and then they appear from nowhere.
this is great. the clarity of the shot is pure and the subjects are varied making for a very interesting shot. Great job.
The whole picture is great. The gulls are cute!
Awesome view! That's a wonderful capture!
WOWZER !
