Description
now covered with snow... but three days ago it looked like this... it's a japanese cherry tree standing near my fathers place. It's bark is really special...
Thanks a lot for all your comments on my little bird...smile...it really boosted up my mood, which today is a bit gloomy...not my usual me...but guess tomorrow will be a new and better day...smile

Very nice work and presentation!
nice textures
Almost monotone...except for those bits of red & green. You could do some wicked macro stuff exploring that bark and moss.
hihi a good idea...but hmm guess i would have to climb up the tree to get those macros...lol...will see, when spring comes...smile

wonderful textures and colours !
Isn't it fun to try new things when cropping a photo? Often I'll look at a photo I've taken and see nothing special...come back later and try a crop like this and suddenly, you have a successful image that you didn't see before. Well seen and cropped. Bill
Well done! Very beautiful shot. Hope that you are better tomorrow
OMG, what a superlative shot of the beautifully textured moss and tree limbs. It's worth five grins on this one, Ulla!

Yes! Wonderful texture! Not just the bark, but the moss itself!!! (I hate to say this, but I love the snow, even if I do complain about it in the spring) LOL :)
What a beautiful image! I love the light, and the contrast between the moss and the bark.
Awesome textures and colors, I'd be all over that tree! Wonderful capture!
Excellent textures and I agree with Tara regarding the contrast between moss and bark, also in that it is a beautiful image. I don't think I have ever come across one of these before. Thanks for sharing. Brilliant capture. Bravo!!!!!
