This is a really beautiful study! The leaf looks very good on the wood!
Great shot.
Excellent capture All the leaves in Ky look worse than this... This is a great image... I uploaded a new one tonight too hope you drop by Hugs Susan~
fantastic colours and texture!
this leaf has much inner life, Helle. Its veins & points of light are vivid, as are its twists & turns & shadows. And it feels right at home against this wood—which is also filled with points of light and shadow. It reminds me of those insects who dwell on plants of their own color: This leaf has found good 'cover' here! I love your series, every one; they give us a chance to ponder and go deep into a single plant, single element...This one's very alive and very detailed, and has a very painterly feel. (I think it would make a good painting!) Beautiful once again...
You are marvelloys with your leaves Helle (and mushrooms too), but after Marks words there is not so much more to say, more than that I love it!
Fantastic detail on this awesome image! :)

Very beautiful, the colors are rich and luminous!
superb rich colors
Love the rich colors, the way the leaf and the wood are so in harmony with each other. Beautiful capture!
This has a rich woody warmth in the rustic tones and a crispness that is in both the leaf and your focus.
