Description
I knocked at the door of the small cottage and a very friendly elderly woman opend me the door. We had a little chat and she asked me inside. A fine cozy inside this is, a fire in the fireplace, the air smelling of the herbs she had hanged up on the wall to dry. She invited me to have dinner with her and to stay the night as dusk was falling. I will stay with her and continue my jouney tomorrow.
It took me a little longer to render this one, my first interior scene... and I wanted it to look good...smile...

Such a lovely and picturesque scene! It seems like each and every item has its place and everything fits together beautifully.
Beautifully done! Wonderful composition and a nice cozy room :)
Very nice work! I really like the lighting & the fireplace looks very warm. :)
for your first it is super looking. nice and homely looking too.
Very rustic... looks like home to me. Great atmosphere.
This scene is very well lit, the caustics are believable and the soft shadows add warmth to the space. Well done.
Very nicely done! Excellent!
clever stuff
So there's no stargate inside the house... bad guess! Lovely decorated, great work!
Very well done! the interior is fantastic and the lighting believable
you build real cool scenes great
A lovely place to stay for the night on your journey. Well done with the lighting.
EXCELLENT!
Very nice indoor scene! I have yet to try one. Nice set of props and textures. The lighting is well done (i'm not sure about the lens flare from the light though) Excellent work!
An elderly woman opened the door? Whatever happened to young Heidi? And surely they must have a television set and computer. How Spartan can you get? In any event, a superb concept showing the indoors of the quaint cottage, ensconced somewhere in the Alps, Ulla!
wow excellent work !!
Nicely lit scene and composition.
wow! love this scene very nice ..this really wonderful work ulla.
Beautifully done! EXCELLENT!
Love it!!!
BEAUTIFUL WORK & IMAGE :)
Lovely scene. It looks tranquil and inviting:)
Excellent travail!
Splendid composition and colors my friend
Splendid Ulla. The interior look great. Now, to piggyback on what goodoleboy had to say above, if the friendly, elderly woman had a computer on the table...she could have been rendering a scene to upload on Renderosity. I know, pretty silly... :-) I like what you've done here. Bill
It really does remind me of an adventure in a computer game, if it was a room like that, I would have to read the book on the table and search in the cupboards and chest for clues. Excellent render with some great detail in there as well, a very good first interior render. I hope you have a pleasant night and the bed is comfy for you. #;0) Bravo!!!!!
Very well done.
fantastic word, beautiful scene!
ein sehr gemütlicher Raum! Schöne Arbeit!
great compliment to the rest of your cottage images!
