I have been fascinated by this vulcano and Pompaii since I was 8 and read my first account of the eruption. The fascination has lasted all these many years and I just finished my umpteenth book on the subject. Outstanding view of both the Mt. and the city.

Beautiful capture. Last year, when I took a Mediterranean cruise we missed a connection in Cincinnati and as a consequence the first two days of the cruise. I had signed up for a day excursion to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii and missed it!
