Excellent photos. I remember the '62 model. And the '48 certainly looks like the parent of the '62. These were all completely handbuilt as I recall. Imagine the labor costs if you did that today. That's why the top of the line Italian exotics cost so much.
Big step in body shape between a two car, realy hard to choose a fav both have some charm what missing from the other. Great double Harry and a cool series.
Beautiful capture of these classic automobiles!
1962 was a VERY GOOD year ;)
I always have the stories about the crankey parts and the whiz-bang performance items. wooden frame, post and pillar front suspension prone to binding as it wore, Triumph engine. all hearsay from sports car magazines beloved by women lawyers, a more personal aside but still not first hand, Seeing them in the sun makes it all new again.
This is another car that I like very much, the '62 version...as always, your captures are wonderful!
FANTASTIC WORK.... WELL DONE.. ROBY ;O)
How much?? checking my pockets LOL not sure which I like better, if I buy one do I get the next one free?? :)
Amazing detail on these beauties Harry... Those were the days when vehicles (and anything for that matter) were still built with love and much care... Great set of images! :)
Lovely cars and pics!
