Forty-first in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.

Middle photo shows the owner, Cathy, alongside her car, clad in her Gloria Swanson "I'm ready for my closeup, Mister DeMille" clothes, posing with her prize pampered poodle for a professonal video taping and interview. The bottom shot shows the lovely Cathy posing explicitly for me, which was quite an honor considering all the other camera mavens hanging around hungry for photos. I definitely don't look like Cecil B. DeMille, so it must have been something else that made her direct her attention towards me.
Background slightly blurred and darkened to emphasize the auto and owner.

I'm so happy to meet one of the owners. It is onorous to have to speculate when almost all of them are with their cars during judging and just before. Then one has an idea of how the pedigree of the marque will be maintained into the future. I would say Kathy has a very heavy foot.

Can't you see yourself sporting around Paris in this car and maybe wearing a white suit...60 years ago? I know you weren't old enough to drive in 1948 but it is fun to think about. Wonderful collage and particularly full-size! Bill
