What an interesting imagery, butterflies going down into the abyss. The contrast is interesting since butterflies are usually thought to represent beauty and all things positive, while there are so many negative connotations associated with the word abyss. Gorgeous colors and sense of depth here. Well done!

I'm not sure what the challenge was but this is a WONDERFUL piece! I think it's very interesting that you took a background that could have been dark and forboding and you softened it up into a delightful scene. Nice job!
