Happy Halloween All-!!!
Our family went to the pumpkin patch in Santa Clarita CA ) last night . While there, got away from the crowd and took a side path up and through this sunflower patch pictured here. I was drawn to the sunflower lined tractor road that led up to a dramatic dappled sky ( a storm front was comming in and it all just came together )... standing there at this place felt slightly surreal to me and I felt deeply peaceful ...I thought yes, it finally feels like October and now October is at it's end ( my favorite month ).

Will get caught up on comments soon- tonight have to help get the girls all ready for trick or treating ( Janel will be a bumble bee and Chrissy a kitty ). I am going to try to stay away from eating too many treats -lol hard thing for me as I am a die hard choca-holic!!!

This is a wonderful shot. The sense of perspective, the contrast between the dark sky and the green plants - it has almost a surreal quality to it, before the storm. This is a very good one.

It's absolutely flawless....... the sky is one that I would give just about anything to see on my own eyes, what a lovely mood and atmosphere as well, suits the Halloween Spirit so well, and does such great justice to this little "pumpkin" path... :) Excellent POV Kimmy! Superb photo. This scene looks like something that should have been in the Wizard of Oz. It is surreal and moody and looks almost like a painting. Happy Halloween! Have fun trick or treating. October is my favorite month, too.

Your photo makes a truly fantastic digital paint. Wonderful composition with shapes and curves. However, allow me to be slightly sad that you did such a huge frame. I would have posted it in 1550x1031pixels with nearly no frame or no frame at all to enhance this wonderful piece of art. 5 with greatest honors of course.
