I just know you had me in mind when you did this. LOL! A Yellow Rose of Texas and Janis - she was from Texas you know. :-) She's my all time favorite and this rose is just as awesome!
A beautiful rose with a warm glow! I read PJ's comment and on the subject of favourites, I listened to the Led Zepp.link and got carried away by clicking on a few more tracks lol. Thanks, great idea to include a link to a track every day!
Beautiful rose... Aloha
like little potatoe chip pieces, good pic
Ohhhhhhhhh ... yummy! Gorgeous light and color. You're right - I love this!
Beautiful rose.
Excellent!
Nice!
Fantastic light and color here! Great contrast between the brilliant petals and the darker background. Great stuff here! Fantastic link too!
I thought that was Bette Midler. But then I thought all the draftees made it to Nam in CRAF airplanes and I found out Army ships took them from Port Arthur, Texas (Janis hometown) to LZ Betty. Remember Love Betty, 1969?
Great job on this one Marilyn, the light is so gorgeous, well done!
lovelly color
Beautiful yellow rose!
Gorgeous yellow rose, I can almost smell it!
Gorgeous capture with soft shadows.
Stellar soft color blends and light/shadow effects in this masterful macro, Marilyn! Incidentally, "The Rose" is also a 1979 movie, starring Bette Midler.
