I had to lean WAY out to get this shot~~those darn railings. You'd think they were worried about some silly photographer falling over trying to get that perfect foto!!

LOL, try a monopod and a remote release :) Be careful my dear...Just leaving for home again, you seem to post just as I am leaving the office :)
ok.. we mailed about it.. ! The photo is great.. and I am glad you say you are carefull
I can't really get a sense of just how far down it is to the water, but I can imagine it's more than 10 feet. Idea for you, ask some unspecting tourist to jump in so you can show us how tiny they are bobbing around for their life in the water...LOL
Great and fantastic shot....bravissima!V:DDD.Hugsxx
superb color
Stunning image Marilyn! Love the POV and coloring! I am darn glad you didn't fall over the railing girl... :)
A really excellent image, lovely colouring
I like this a lot!
Yo,u need some fixtures to attach to the railing to give a nice rigid perch. I have seen a whole truck full of them in Arapahoe clounty, colorado during the filming of "Blue Clay". then just a couple of days ago goodoleboy had some at Palos Verdes that were the same plated pipes that make no sense at all.
This whole HB ocean series is awesome! This one is just exquisite!
This is astounding...the colors are absolutely fantastic, but what really gets me, in terms of the color, is the lighter color of the water. It's astounding. I like your POV as well...the pilings are great! In short, this image rocks in quite a number of ways.
You should have gone ahead and taking the tumble over the rail just to show them they aren't so smart with their fancy building and good intentions! LOL
wonderful capture have a sweet weekend warm hug, Linda
Reddish golden amber color well represented in this beautifully lit and textured heroic capture, Marilyn, but where are your feet and toes, which are usually the hallmark of your accomplishment?
Stunning!!!
Great title, beautiful image, wonderful song! The whole thing is a fantastic presentation!
Love it's tones ;O)
Oh that would make me dizzy looking down...very fine shot!
