Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera, hand-held image.
I am a big fan of this species because they seem to actually like being near people. Apparently this is a well established behavior and has been commented about by many people. I have had encounters with 2 different individuals this year and both encounters were a result of their decisions and not mine, lol.
Earlier this year one of these Butterflies flew across my pond and landed on my hand. I managed to get some shots which I posted here at RR.
On this occasion, I once again had a similar experience and once again I managed to get a few more shots.
This shot was one of those but was taken after the initial contact. I will post another tomorrow.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

This is a soft colored shot with great appeal. The markings are excellent and I find its friendly behavior very novel!
