Not sure what species this little guy is. It was only about 1/4 inch (3mm) long.

outstanding macro work... well done indeed
So tiny and look at those longs hairs. Cute but probably not one you'd want to pet. At least, I wouldn't want to. Excellent find.
Marvellous sharpness on this tiny fellow!
Amazing macro.
Fantastic macro.
Wonderful macro, Excellent well done..
very nice "king" - wonderful macro!
Great capture!!!
I am always wary of hairy catapillars, I had a bad experience with one when I was young, I don't know what sort it was but I came out in a real bad rash and one of the hairs was imbedded in my skin. The end was curled round like a fish hook, it taught me a lesson I can tell you. I have never picked up a caterpillar since, I have drove a few though both trucks and bulldozers. Excellent capture Lee, what amazes me is when he gets to the end he can curl around and walk back underneath the leaf. Bravo!!!!!
Wonderful crisp image, and the pale BG helps it pop, well done.
Love this one's fur sticking up. Splendid capture. Bunny
maybe it is a little blue.they are so small as grownup butterflies
A real "big" King. Great shot, my friend.
