Description
This is my first real attempt at photographing the moon. It was taken in the day time and sky darkened to make it look like night. Manual focus a 400mm lens with a 1.4x extension.
Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~)

Wow! I would not have guessed this was a day time shot. Wonderful view of the orb.
Nice view...
Good to see your success here. Recently bought a 70-300mm lens for my x2 4/3rds Olympus. Bad weather for the next couple of nights...looking forward to trying this. Thanks David. Bill

Excellent expression of this new airport.
Excellent shot! Nice contrast!
That came out really nice! Methinks you should encourage my other half to spend a grand on a zoom lens :)

Awesome postwork.
Stunning! I'd love to see the original daytime version as well...but that's just me. This is a wonderfully-detailed capture, a piece of astronomical photography at its finest! Great work, and it's of a subject close to my heart.
Excellent stuff. That's come out really well.
