Description
Another shot from the redwood forest in Jedediah Smith State Park, just a bit northeast of Crescent City, California. Once again my lovely model provides us with some scale. This shot contains less than one quarter of the tree. You really have to seen these trees to truly appreciate them.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

It's just amazing to me that the ferns are even giants! Marvelous composition. Just awesome.
It's almost unbelievable how large those trees are ... I love all the greenery surrrounding them ... It's bright and sunny, but you wouldn't know it at the base of the trees ... Beautiful capture ...
The majestic scale of these trees leaves one speechless. It would have been lovely and cool under the canopy:-)
The tree is beautiful but I'm really impressed with the size of the ferns. Wow, I've never seen ferns that large before. This is a wonderful picture.
That's just so danged impressive! Beautiful shot, my friend.
Thanks for sharing these shots of these great trees.
Wonderful capture those trees are enormous..
Petits et grands se rencontrèrent !
Stunning capture!
Just WOW!
Incredible! Every human that stands in this forest must feel like one of the 'wee folk'! Do you ever see fallen trees in here, or are they removed immediately?
Fantastic capture! :)
Beautiful work...
I think I will cry now! We were suppose to go on a huge coastal trip this past June and it got canceled. :( I see you went in my place, so I hope to go back and look at all the shots you took of all the places we didn't get to see! LOL :P
Awesome.. Yes having the lovely lady in the photo does give us the scale of the trees & I can only imagine how these look in real life! Something out of Jurassic Park :) Well captured mate!
Standing next to a Giant. Impressive shot. Aloha
